easy and entertaining

I enjoyed this. If you like authors like Nick Hornby and Ben Elton you may too. Better writing than Nick Earls. Very straightforward tale of boy meets girl, boy loses girl, gets girl back. Some interesting side issues like male commitment and mateship. Bit of a backdrop to law and divorce cases. I could see this as a movie starring Hugh Grant. The female character development is pretty non existent which may annoy some people. Probably the perfect holiday novel, or for the bus or anywhere at all really. Very easy reading, short sentences which I like. Will appeal to Anglophiles like me! I can see Hugh Grant opposite Drew Barrymore in this one.
