The Finished Mystery II

By James Hunta

Book Overview

Ally is a gymnast with Olympic aspirations living on the Gold Coast of Queensland. Her boyfriend Dave, who is temporarily living in Dubai with his family is taken hostage by al Qaeda.. Ally questions the existence of God after they were all executed without mercy. How could God, if he exists, allow this to happen to a loving family? As she struggles with her beliefs, she is bombarded by the news media where she openly challenges the religion of al Qaeda and her speech goes viral across the nation. In the meantime, an al Qaeda operative in Saudi- Arabia examines his faith and is thrust into his own struggle to understand the real truth. The Finished Mystery II is a fascinating book. It is thoughtful and thorough in explaining its central message, and it leads to grand questions about God and meaning. -Clarion Review Hunta has created an engaging, mind-opening novel touching on the age-old question of God. -US Review of Books, Recommended The story telling and characters are wonderful, and the big picture goal of the author to expand the readers' knowledge and understanding of world religions and interpretations of religious foundations in order to explore truths about humanity is effective and masterful. I highly recommend this book. -Pacific Book Review The Finished Mystery II stands as a testament to Hunta's deep understanding of religious texts, his ability to contextualize ancient wisdom, and his courage to question established norms. -Barnes & Noble Review
