Tiny Titanic

This was a small ship with a big loss of life. Unfortunately it has been sadly forgotten untill this book came along. It retells the story so vividly you feel that you were there. A must for a ship buff.

A sad story, and some heroes are given their due.

This is the second book I know of written about the Princess Sophia tragedy. While the Morrison-Coates effort may be superior in some areas, there are two in which this book is clearly superior. One, the pictures are much better. And two, the author gives some long overdue credit to the captains and crews of the "Cedar" and the "King and Winge", both of whom made every effort to rescue the people aboard the Sophia, even to the point of severely risking themselves. This is sad and interesting story that few have heard.
