All you want to know about hospice but were afraid to ask.
Published by Adrienne Attaberry , 5 months ago
In my more than two decades working in hospice, this is the very best book I've read about end-of-life work. Barbara has written this book in a very easy-to-understand style without challenging the reader with unnecessary medical terminology. Her straight- forward approach invites readers to consider, and for many for the first time, to begin their personal exploration of end-of-life care. It's about time that those of us living in a death-denying culture develop a more comfortable understanding of death . . . especially since we all are going to have to learn to deal with it.
I highly recommend this book, and I sincerely thank Barbara for her wisdom, experience, and for sharing her stories.
