The construction of this work consists of identifying the characteristics of filmmaking skills and defining them as competencies, identification, elements of the competency, performance criteria, problems, and application range. The audiovisual representation competency helps guide filmmaking courses at the film school. This curricular competency makes up for the need for more description of a film director's work.
