Too many unrelevsnt story lines distracting.

Too much needless back stories. Wasting time and rolling my eyes. The general plot. And historical description was fascinating. Top stuff. Got gross at the big final revealing. Just didn't need to go there , in my opinion. I stopped it right there and didn't bother to finish. First book inner circle was similar. I think I'm dine with his books.
