An inspired review of women in the Bible

I was very impressed with Lynne Bundesen's book. Her very inspired review of woman in the Bible made me very proud to be a woman, a seeker of a better understanding of my relationship to God. Her deep insights were very helpful in my own spiritual path. And her book refuted many of the assumed stories and generalities about woman in general, especially those attributed to in the Bible. It was a book which was hard to put down ... it totally captured me. I don't do this often, but I loved her book so much that I bought a number of extra copies which I'll be sharing with sisters and friends.

Made in the Image of God: male and female

This book is excellent. It is full of truth from the Scriptures. I am thankful for how much Lynne Bundesen has dug out the riches and presented to the reader to meditate and digest on. I love this book very much. It is one I will keep as my most favorite. I keep my most favorite books by my bed to pull and refresh upon ever now and then. Her writing is that special to me. The references she gives are good tools for serious Bible students. I have known God as the great Utter, drinking from the breast, nurturing me as a mother and raising me in wisdom, which wisdom is nothing but the Holy Spirit that Christ Jesus has given me to understand all aspects of my God. I am female and know I am made in His image as female. It is experiential and very personal. I am glad this aspect of God is being presented so others will hear the truth and can act upon to experience for themselves. Being a Christian, this is my inheritance that she presents. Exellent book!

I found this book to be an excellent source of Bibe study emphasizing the feminine in the Bible. The author takes you through several books of the Bible and points out the feminine spirit as opposed to the masculine as we have been brought up to believe. I would suggest that you mention that you will need a Concordance while reading this book. The author mentions it and it is very much needed.
