The Fear of the Lord

Even though there are over 400 scriptures on the fear of the Lord, I had never heard a sermon, read a book or studied this topic! Since the Bible says the "fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom", it seems extremely important to learn exactly what this means. If we truly fear God, we will obey God. Because hearing the Word causes our faith to grow, we need to meditate and study scriptures on this topic to really grasp what it means to fear God. Even Jesus was heard by the Father because He feared God. Let us follow the Lord's example and be sanctified and holy as He is holy.
