Dr. Shults, affectionately known as Brother Fount, invites us to "look upon him whom we have pierced" and realize how our brokenness can be healed by allowing the light of the gospel to expose our corruption and bring healing and wholeness at the same time. The stone over Lazarus' tomb was removed allowing the light to enter and reverse death's process. Dr. Shults noticed that Peter and Judas are not as different as we think. They had different ends, but each was trying to force Jesus' hand to be the Messiah they imagined in their heads. The difference is that Peter continued to follow even when he did not understand.
