Earth and other planets are 'seeded' by an advanced alien species that farm planets for resources every two hundred thousand years. The planet's seed 'creators' have planted this crop on Earth for eons and the seed dominates and flourishes with programmed attributes that facilitate its own destruction. The crop is hominid. In 1975, a carefree college student named Ned grows up fast when he encounters Rik and Iris from planet Aoife. He dismissed local stories about space aliens, time travelers, abductions, cattle mutilations, and flying saucers as tabloid trash for feeble minds. But when his father is murdered, Ned's life changes in an instant. The danger confronting him and what he must do is crystal clear. Find a way to follow Rik and Iris back to planet Aoife to finish his father's mission. No one would believe him, one person is willing to help him, but they don't trust each other, and they have no clue what to do next. In the middle of the night, under a desert starry sky, they step into the unknown toward their journey to the battlefield. Of course, they're not ready for what they will face or what will pursue them.
