Plagued by memories of the bizarre accident that killed his father, Morris Jackson often wonders if he's to blame. When he begins dreaming of the idyllic Garden of Eden, he questions the harsh reality... This description may be from another edition of this product.
An intriguing look into the battles we face each day...the battle between good and evil. Morris' struggles are a vivid picture of how people struggle to discover the difference between right and wrong and why "bad things happen to good people". A very well-written novel that is hard to put down!

The Fall follows the spiritual journey of one young man struggling with the question of why a loving God would allow evil and suffering. It's an age-old question, but this book really gave it a new spin. Morris Jackson witnesses the fall of mankind in the garden of Eden firsthand through a series of absorbing and disturbing dreams that spill over into his waking life as well. As things get worse in his real life Morris falls deeper into despair until he is brought face to face with the true source of evil and God's answer to it. The Fall is a fast-paced read with a surprising ending and a touching romance throughout the story. I highly recommend it!

Wow. This book is really unique...not like a lot of the other books in this genre. The writing is strong, and the characters hooked me. I couldn't put it down. I hope Lasinski is writing a sequel!

The Fall captures the journey of a young man who finds great happiness and contentment as long as everything is going well. When adversity comes into his life and the lives of those he loves, he begins to question the nature of God and the suffering in this world. The author has a thought-provoking and effective technique of weaving the main character's flashbacks and dreams of Eden and other biblical situations throughout a description of his search for meaning in reality. The pain he faces is realistic as many of the situations are pulled from today's headlines. By the end of the book, the reader cares about Morris and wants to see him find the answer to his many questions. I appreciated the clear presentation of God's grace and love for humanity. I would definitely recommend The Fall to anyone seeking to understand this world we live in. It's a quick read with a lot of truth in it.
