this book is good because it has very nice pictures in it. It shows you that trying new things can be fun if you do it witha friend or two.And that you're never to old to have a goodtime. It also show's that people aren't as strange as theymay seem to be at first.I think that children 4 to 7 would like this book because it's very exciting and fun to read.Theywill also like to look at the pictures.

The art work is super, and I love the story line. The Fandinis are a hoot, and the message about trying something new is a good one for folks of all ages.

We have loved reading the Fabulous Flying Fandinis to our daughters and have made a habit of giving copies to all of our friends who have children. The artwork is quite simply extraordinary. It is so detailed and delightful that even parents will remain engaged after the umpteenth reading. The book abounds in good humor and high spirits and the message (don't give in to your fears) is related with such gentleness and optimism that kids don't even know they are receiving an important lesson for life. They're too busy having Fabulous Fandini Fun!
Timeless message, fun and beautiful illustrations.

I bought this book for my one of my nieces, then for my other two nieces after the first wanted it read to her every night. The art is unique, colorful, extremely detailed and fun. I am amazed each time I flip a page. Finally the message is one every kid (and adult including myself!) needs to be reminded of...living fully means overcoming fear and risking looking a little foolish sometimes!

I loved the book. The author isn't bad either. The scenery of the book was copied from the south side of St. Louis. there are a lot of brick houses similar to the ones in the title page. The Fandinis house is Ingrid's fantasy victorian mansion. There were a lot of Victorian houses in Webster Groves, a St. Louis suburb. Bobby Browns parents kind of look like Ingrid and I, remember I said kind of. We do not have a Bobby though. From Author's husban
