Discovering Truth

Excellent book, the first fantasy I have read since my teen years. The basic story is about seeking out and learning the real truth about one's self and life. Hard to put down and I kept thinking what a great movie this story would make.

Beautifully written page turner...

What struck me about this book was Mr Arvidson's particular talent for weaving vivid imagery with an adventurous womans comming of age story. The farther you progress, the harder this book is to put down. Thoroughly enjoyed, & highy recommended- can't wait for the next installment.

Excellent story!

I loved this story about a young girl exploring her world and finding out about the "mystery" that life brings. The main character is strong and open to ideas that take others longer to master. She is a willing learner and also a teacher through example. She is a stong leader which is great because others look up to her and depend on her leadership. I have a daughter and she is reading it now. Hopefully she will see a little of Sonoria in herself.

This books teaches about human nature...

This book tries to teach us that even though we may come from different cultures, we need to get along with one another as a community or risk war and destruction. Sonoria's job is to unite the tribes in a fight for freedom. All of her battles, both internal and external, only strengthen her desire for freedom. She uses this strength to unite a society in a way not seen in the history of the people of the book. After finishing this book, readers know that "the Victory and the Glory" aren't all they appear. As a teacher, I appreciate the appearance of a strong female protagonist. I recommend this book to everyone from 11 on up and I eagerly await Book Two.

Eye of the Stallion

Being a mom I have little time to escape into the secret life of book characters. Luckily when this window came up I had just recieved a copy of this new book. It is fantastic. I ended up staying up half the night to finish and now I am waiting for what comes next. When will there be more adventures to go on with Sonoria? I highly recommend this book to anyone above the age of 11 (especially young women).....ENJOY!
