In the sensational follow-up to The Book With No Name, those who miraculously survived are back in town for another massacre to remember Young lovers Dante and Kacy, hapless bartender Sanchez, Peto... This description may be from another edition of this product.
When a sequel appears, one is often wary. The majority of sequels often do not live up to the standards set down by the first work. It is rare that a sequel equals or exceeds the original work, Godfather II and Empires Strikes Back for example. Eye of the Moon is one of those rare sequels that is just as good or better than the original. Eye of the Moon continues the authors blend of Tarintino inspired dialogue, Ridley and Tony Scott action and laugh out loud hysterics. I would like to mention that Eye of the Moon does include a new character, Robert Swann. This continues the author's Keira Knightley nods. Domino's clothing store was the nod in The Book with No Name. Hmmm, Robert, Keira Knightley, I wonder how much of a nod to a member of a Keira Knightley forum this would be? *wink* As for the plot, well, it is fast, furious, and bloody as all get out. Best enjoyed with lots of booze and food that is bad for for you but oh so delicious!
A great follow up

The Eye of the Moon is a great follow up to The Book With No Name. It's as fast paced, violent and funny as its predecessor and gives back story to some of the best characters. I read it around the same time as I read a Wilbur Smith novel. The two books couldn't have been more different, but both of them stopped me getting much sleep because they were so full of action. If you're looking for an action packed "over-the-top" no brainer then The Eye of the Moon is perfect, especially if you liked The Book With No Name. Just remember to switch your brain off before you start!
