When earth was created, assignments were given to other creatures to watch over the earth. The Cloudarians were assigned by the "Core" to watch over earth's atmosphere, weather patterns, and its oceans and streams. Because of man's failure to guard against the pollution of earth, a division arose among the Cloudarians as to the existence of earth and humankind.

The Cloudarians lived in a sphere within the earth's life cycle. The Cloudarians' people were assigned a purpose in life by the Core. Ariea, a young princess is so excited that she is turning eighteen in two days As she contemplates the possibilities of her life, she hears a chime on her aerial. Before she gets a chance to answer, Themar, her best friend, bursts into her room with a huge smile on her face. She is excited that Ariea maturity date is within days.

As time would have it, Ariea, comes into her age of maturity. Her life's assignment becomes the foundation for a love triangle. Ariea is a privileged young woman whose love for two men leads her to fulfill an unintended, unavoidable prophecy. She demonstrates bravery and courage in offering her life as a sacrifice to prevent two tribes from going to war that would have caused catastrophic harm to earth.
