The tragedy of 1965 is the darkest incident in Indonesia history. Millions of people die just because people stab each other, slander each other, kill each other to get their safety. We don't know who is the opponent and who is your friends. Even our students who are studying in Eastern European countries such as Russia at that time must be victims of the savagery of a new regime. They become a man without land because their rights as citizens are deprived or become displaced people from their own country. Because when they want to go back to their homeland where they are born as if they were closed. And if they return to their homeland they can be arrested, imprisoned and even killed. This story is illustrated nicely in a short story entitled "The Exiles".
