Anthony Branigan's well-ordered life is thrown into turmoil when he receives news of the death of his father, a Vietnam veteran with post-traumatic stress disorder. What follows is a story of political intrigue, the search for MIAs, kidnap and murder in which Branigan not only learns the truth about his father's past during the Vietnam War, but becomes embroiled in a dangerous game of cat and mouse between forces vying for control of that war-ravaged country.
