Excellent Summary

In The Everything Jesus Book, Jon Kennedy successfully tackles a monumental task - concisely summarizing the life of Jesus, his teaching and his impact on humanity for more than two-millennia. Beginning with Jesus' birth, Kennedy offers an insightful overview of history (as it relates to Christ) up to the present day. Information is well organized into 20 chapters that truly address everything you want to know about Jesus' life, legacy and even future return. The book includes basics in church history and theology, as well as a discussion on the state of modern Christianity. Readers will find useful explanations of familiar religious terms (whose definitions are often unknown even to Christians), and helpful distinctions between Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant traditions. If your interest is limited to a particular topic, a comprehensive index will assist you in navigating through the book.

Great book on Jesus

This is a pretty good book. It is very informative and gives a good historical look at the life of Jesus. I wish it would have focused more on the teachings of Jesus, but it is an over-all good book.
