The Everly Brothers was a country-influenced rock and roll duo formed in Shenandoah, Iowa, US, known for steel-string acoustic guitar playing and close harmony singing. Isaac Donald "Don" Everly (February 1st, 1937 - August 21, 2021) and Phillip Jason "Phil" Everly (January 19th, 1939 - January 3rd, 2014) were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame during 1986 then the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2001.
