The Evergreen Tree
Deep in a snowy forest stands Evergreen-a proud, strong, and beautiful tree with branches wide enough to shelter anyone in need.
When Rabbit needs a warm place to rest, Evergreen welcomes her beneath its branches. Soon Cardinal arrives looking for a place to perch, followed by Squirrel searching for a safe place to hide his acorns. Even a shy little Deer finds comfort standing beside the gentle tree.
Before long, Evergreen discovers that opening her heart to others brings more happiness than she could have ever imagined.
But when a fierce winter storm sweeps through the forest, Evergreen and her friends must stay close and weather the long, cold night together. And when morning finally arrives, the friends find a beautiful way to show Evergreen just how much her kindness meant to them.
The Evergreen Tree is a heartwarming Christmas story about friendship, kindness, belonging, and the warmth we find when we care for one another. Filled with charming woodland animals, a magical winter setting, and a message of love and generosity, this beautifully illustrated picture book is perfect for children and families to enjoy together during the holiday season.
A gentle reminder that sometimes the greatest gift we can give is simply a safe place for someone to call home.
