Very original, and hard to put down in the middle

The Evangeline Manuscript is the only novel I have ever read which combines time travel and the historical Jesus. That combination alone makes the book worth reading. However, in addition, the author has a wonderful ability to portray everyday life at the time of the Roman empire; and the characters are fully-developed, and they are people whom the reader will care about.

New Age story with profound implications for today

This book is wonderful! It is a New Age, science fiction, historical fiction, adventure story with a strong woman heroine. I have difficulty believing a mere man could have done such a credible job portraying a woman. I strongly recommend this book. Pssst, women: Give this to your male friends.

This is a great book!

I absolutely loved "The Evangeline Manuscript" and am in fact re-reading it already. It's not only because the heroine is a Scottish-descended Southern college student, it's because there is a whopping great story, a superb cast of characters, and a fascinating "what if" message. I highly recommend this book, to everyone. But beware: Closed minds will object.

This book is fascinating! I loved it and highly recommend it

This is a great book. It is a combination of New Age, religious, science fiction, historical fiction, adventure, romance, philosophical, and perhaps still other genres. The attention to detail in daily living alone is worth the price. But the story is enthralling. I highly recommend it. Women should appreciate the female lead; men should appreciate, well, everything. It's superb.
