What is the meaning of life? What comprises the true essence of our spirit and soul? What are the most important things in life? What significance does our life play within the grand scheme of existence and the annals of eternity? These are just a few of the age old questions mankind has been seeking answers to since the beginning of time. But why have the answers to such questions seemingly been so elusive for so long? Could it be that that they're predominately unanswerable or perhaps it's because we're not meant to be privy to such insights? Then again, maybe it simply relates to our own abilities to perceive and recognize the answers when they're presented to us.What if we were offered a glimpse behind the shroud of uncertainty surrounding such ideologies? What if many of the enigmatic aspects of our existence turned out to be not so mysterious after all. How would such knowledge transform the way we view our lives? How would it affect the way in which we conduct our day to day affairs in this world? What if the answers we sought were already deeply ingrained within the very fiber of our being?I personally believe that each person's life plays an integral part within the totality of our existence. I also strongly believe it's within our human nature to aspire towards making a difference in the world around us. The thought of leaving a lasting impression long after our time has passed, seemingly brings with it a deep sense of satisfaction and contentment to the minds of most. In essence, it brings a degree of perceived immortality which extends our existence beyond our physical life span. A declaration that our lives were not lived in vain, but instead served a greater purpose. Thus, the title of this book "The Eternal Evolution of Man" is meant to convey two prominent facets of our human experience. First, the word "evolution" conveys the theory that we're all a continuous work in progress. The primary purpose and significance of our journey in life is the mental, spiritual, and character growth we're able to achieve throughout our ventures. Secondly, the word "eternal" signifies the permanency of our spiritual being, as well as, the totality of our existence beyond this world. At the heart of our existence are the gifts God has given to each of us. These gifts have been etched and ingrained within the essence of our spirit and they allow us to express ourselves in ways that add value to the world around us. However, we often lose sight of these gifts because we don't always recognize them for what they are. We allow "worldly views" to taint our judgment of what is acceptable and admirable. Thus, we sometimes deny our own God given abilities because we fear rejection or un-acceptance. We become dependent on the external world for answers in our lives, instead of the One who created us.My primary goal with this book is to help encourage others to celebrate the unique person God has made them to be, in addition to helping others embrace the essence of who they are. Secondly, I want to open people's eyes to the significant role they play in the world and the value they add to the lives of others. Lastly, I want to emphasize the fact that we all bring joy to God when we use the gifts He's given us; especially when such gifts are used towards helping enrich the lives of others. Through this book, I hope to inspire you to take on a new view of yourself as you work towards identifying the personal gifts you have to offer.
