The Esteem Princess Chronicles is a book series geared towards building self-esteem and self-love in girls and young women, all around the world. This title is a book series which consists of several different topics about coming to terms with self. This is more than just a book series, this is a movement. This movement, which is mostly geared towards girls, aims to raise awareness of the issues that many girls face in today's society, regarding beauty. Image Why was that so important in society? These questions;"Am I pretty enough? Am I thin enough? Am I light enough?, has plagued the minds of every girl, at one point in life. Even looking at the depictions of all of the Fairy Tales Princesses, there's such a huge lack of representation. From Cinderella to Snow White, there's just a huge lack of inclusiveness when it comes to how a princess should look. Well it's about time that this all change. The First Book in the Series is titled, Ariah and the Cure
Princess Ariah is a Swedish Princess, born with Down Syndrome. To her parents, she is perfect in all of the ways that a princess can be. To everyone else, she is the poor, wretched, girl to be pitied. She is not what the Kingdom expected their princess and future Queen to look like. As she comes into society, Princess Ariah is made to feel ugly, and unworthy. She is bullied at school and even by some members of her own family. As she struggles with self-acceptance, Ariah vows to become a Scientist to find the cure for Down Syndrome, no matter what it takes.
