Marvelous Book about Vermeer

This is a wonderful and easy to understand book about the famous artist Jan Vermeer. There are beautiful full color reproductions of all of his paintings, including one at my favorite museum - The Frick Collection in NYC. It also compares Vermeer to some of his contemporaries giving the reader an impression of the cultural influences of that time period. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in art history.
