A complete rip off of the original book by Rudolf Vrba

This book, published in 2022, is a retellling of the original story by Rudolf Vrba, which is still in print, called, "I Escaped from Auschwitz." It was originally titled, "I cannot forgive," and has been in constant publication in many languages since the mid 60's. Freedland got much wrong with the retelling. Rudolf Vrba's name is not even on the cover. In fact, Vrba was not an escape artist. He was smart enough to take advantage of a hideout and a plan designed by others. There are other errors, too, for instance, Vrba and his partner, Wetzler, were not the first Jews to escape Auschwitz, as Siegfried Lederer had only escaped the week before. So don't waste your time with this one. Read it from the horse's mouth...the original book, "I Escaped from Auschwitz."
