This Commentary highlights how Jude began to write to his readers concerning the salvation which we all share through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. But then he suddenly changes his purpose in writing to give his readers warning concerning those "ungodly men" called "filthy dreamers" who had crept into the church to bring division by denying the only Lord God and Jesus Christ. They had also brought the truth of the gospel into question and were in danger of leading believers astray. Jude calls the out with strong language and then at the end of his letter reverts back to giving his readers wonderful encouragement and exhortations as they keep themselves in the love of God. A very little read and understood book but so much needed as we are living in the days just before the return of the Lord and the catching away of the Church.
