The 03 main sources of pollution are: -Urban discharges: resulting from the collection and treatment of wastewater from households, domestic, craft and tertiary activities as well as from rainwater runoff in urban areas;-Agricultural discharges: resulting from the percolation of rainwater in the soil and its runoff, the application of chemicals on the soil, market gardening and livestock activities;-Industrial discharges: the proportions of pollution in the sectors vary according to the types of pollution and the proportion of industrial origin being for example higher for certain toxic pollutants.
