Please get this book today. If you are at least a little concerned about our energy future and how today's methods of using oil, coal, natural gas and nuclear energy are destroying the environment and our children's future then you want to read this book. I was outraged to have confirmed suspicions I've had for a long time that our government and the barons of big energy have deceived and misled us about the efficacy of alternative forms of energy. They so fear that the information about these new forms of energy will become known to the general public that they're using every method at their disposal to repress, slow development, curtail research and inhibit any implementation of them. Many individuals have discovered and developed various methods of energy production that are clean, environmentally benign and will solve our energy production problems once and for all. The real problem is the politics and special interests that stand to be displaced by these new technologies. But we can no longer allow ourselves to be manipulated and deceived when the solutions are here and are real. We must demand that these technologies be freed from those that currently control them so that our children and future generations can be assured a better future than what the current paradigm will give them. Through a series of chapters, many derived from essays, the author describes a world of possibilities, how they have been suppressed and the forces at work. He boldly warns of the threats that are there as well as the promise and what needs to happen to bring this about.
