What great stories -- and thought-provoking

If you believe as I do that one of the reasons we are on earth is to help others by nurturing the good that is in all of us (our enduring human siprit), then this book is a call to action. Each story shows how the enduring human spirit lives until the moment of death, regardless of whether or not we have all of our mental and physical abilities. We need to honor that spirit and work to preserve it, especially in those who are having difficulties in their lives, such as being in a nursing home or losing loved ones.There are great questions in addition to the stories to help us focus on the issues we need to think about in keeping our spirit alive as we grow older. The answers aren't really in this book, but you can use the stories to find the answers in your heart. I hope Charles Tindell's next book has even more information about what each of us can do to nurture the enduring human spirit in all of us.
