From the minute he laid eyes on him, Callum knew that he wanted Taylor. He wanted his addictions, anger, and cynicism. Taylor didn't know what he wanted.

Their relationship goes from peace to struggles, and nobody believes their relationship will last. The End is Near depicts the volatile relationship of the two. The novel tells their story through themes of abuse, addiction, infidelity, and trauma.

THE END IS NEAR is the debut novel from British writer Connor McCarten. He is a Law graduate of the University of Liverpool and continues to reside in his home city of Liverpool.
