Useful book to get ideas in techniques for your drawing
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 16 years ago
The title of the book explains what you can expect from it: an encyclopedia of techniques. There are lots of ideas of how to give a drawing a creative feel. There are brief explanations of how to get it too, so don't expect a detailed explanation. I think that it's more useful to get a fresh start before starting a work and in the study of the approach to the final work.

I am a ceramic artist and teacher of all the arts. I found the book inspirational and a great resource for both teacher and student in the classroom. Students can browse through picking, choosing , and combining techniques in order to better convey their visual message. Teachers can springboard from the ideas presented for original art projects. It is a must resource for the beginner and advanced artist!
