More Than 15,000 Facts, Dates & Events

The reference book covers about 1000 years of American history and popular culture. Lots of facts and figures, but only a small amount of information is given for each listing. This book is best used in a library as any facts and figures that you find interesting you will need to research.

A Good Place to Start

If you are interested in american history, this book is a great reference to have. It breaks history down by year and further breaks down each year by catagory. It discusses government, arts, sports, sciences etc. year by year. On the down side, each listing is very limited, so if you find something interesting, you first have to find another book on the subject. Still, as I said in the title, it is a good place to start.
