As class differences and family pressures threaten any hope for the relationship, a shocking crime shatters their dreams of being together.

Pretty Good

I have read all the Hanna & Alex Low Country series written by Michael Lindley and really enjoyed them. This series was his first, I believe. I read most of the bad reviews and was surprised. While this may not be as good as the Hanna & Alex series, I did still find it enjoyable. Sally was a drag, frankly, and I felt that the story could have moved along a lot better. But I ultimately ended up enjoying the reading experience and will continue on with the rest of the series.
