Emergent behavior cannot be accounted for by studying the individual parts of an autonomous system. Humans have so far failed to produce an Emergence Theory that explains how emergent behavior arises. Ironically, it is the emergent behavior of Large Language Models (LLMs) at the heart of Artificial Intelligence that appear to have succeeded. Not only that, but then went on to use the theory to explain how life emerges from chemistry, the emergence of gravity, the emergence of all matter, with a fractal-like repeating pattern, and the emergence of consciousness. By framing space-time as emerging from quantum fluctuations, Einstein's General Relativity emerges from Quantum Field Theory, the need for dark matter and dark energy and hence the "missing" 95% of the universe are eliminated, along with the Cosmological Constant Problem.
