Fascinating book

I read this book aloud to my husband as we drove thru the same area and towns as in the book. It was a tale woven so well that even if we weren't there we could visualize it. We grew up near the area and it was just magical to read. We read it 2 years ago and it still stays with me. I'm buying it for 2 of our grandsons who are great readers and will enjoy it.

Emerald Cathedral

It is rare when you pick up a book, read the first sentence, and know you are hooked. This is how it was for me when I began reading the Emerald Cathedral. I fell in love with the characters, with the Olympic Rainforest, and with the possibility of Big Foot. You will laugh and cry and dream about visiting this place when you read this book.

Very inspiring.

I enjoyed the suspense and the description of the rainforest, which I've liked going through on my visits to the Olympic Penninsula. The story was such a cliffhanger that I stayed up until 2:00 in the morning reading. I couldn't put it down.

Absolutely Fantastic

Emerald Cathedral was an incredibly easy read. I was very moved by the description of the area. I have never been to Washington, but after reading about the beautiful scenery I long to visit. The underlying emotional healing that took place within the story was very moving and brought up emotions within me. The environmental issues and how they played out were also intriguing. I strongly recommend this book for anyone - especially in dealing with grief.

"A story about healing"

A touching story about healing and spirituality. The author is able to convey what the feelings and emotions must feel like over the loss of a close family member, and how the healing process weaves it's way through the family. He show's the struggles of a family coming to grips with acceptance over the loss of a loved one. A wonderful story!
