A Bible study book and a page-turner? Yes!

Who has not heard of Chariots of Fire, Lord of the Flies, riding the whirlwind, Ahabs and Jezebels? Having been raised into an Old Covenant household, I knew of Elijah as one who presages something called the Messianic Age. However, now that I have read "The Elijah Prophecies" by Pastor David Squyres of Palms Baptist Church in Twentynine Palms, CA, I actually know who Elijah was, what were his prophecies and how he vanquished belief in Baal by invoking the power of Yahweh for all to see. And, how he foretold of the coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. Pastor Squyres is a gifted writer whose unshakeable faith, wisdom and humanity shine through on every page. This book has softened my heart, and I recommend this book to everyone.
