Long awaited Elephants

It has taken a long time to track down a copy of Elephants of Norwich, but it was worthwhile. The eleventh volume in an enjoyable and eminently readable series about crime solving after the Norman Conquest in England, this one has an fast paced plot involving stolen treasure as well as murder, characters that are complex enough to create doubt, and a good sense of what the English countryside must have been like. I wish there were more in this series.
