The Elephant and the Ungrateful Hare

A kind-hearted elephant sets out on an important journey carrying a bucket of sweet golden honey for his in-laws. Along the way, he meets a small hare stranded beside a rushing river. Feeling sorry for the little creature, the elephant offers him a ride across the water.

But the clever hare has other plans.

While riding safely on the elephant's back, the mischievous hare secretly eats all the honey and replaces it with stones When the elephant finally discovers the trick, he becomes furious and chases the hare across forests, rivers, villages, and wide open savannahs.

What follows is a fast-paced adventure filled with hilarious tricks, narrow escapes, frightened villagers, and one very determined elephant. Even after losing the fur from his tail during a daring escape, the crafty hare continues to outsmart everyone around him with his quick thinking and playful lies.
