Resolving the maze

Electronic health records and Information Systems can be (and will be) a headache to everybody involved in hospitals. It is important to learn the principles behind the good and the bad information systems. It's not just "computers", it's about new concepts that emerge in the practice of the medicine in these days of change. This book pictures the mainframe of what an electronic health record should be, explained clearly and pointed. You don't need to be an expert on informatics to understand it. Very good and usable book, I'd recommend to read this one before a more complex and specific book if you're not an expert on electronic health records.
