This book is a comprehensive treatise on electromagnetism which includes the scalar magnetic field. Prerequisite is an undergraduate course in electromagnetism (300 level in the American system). The book also includes a new model of gravitation (the major difference from the 4th Ed.) where there is some overlap with electromagnetism.

The large number of equations in the book may seem intimidating, but much of them are simply the intermediate steps in derivations. It was thought that by expanding out each step of a derivation, it would make the book more accessible. The downside is that all of the extra equations makes it appear more complicated than it really is.
