The effect of space planning on visually impaired students

As the time passes, the interest in learning keep developing and people put more effort to reach a higher level in education. This lead to taking another interest in making the learning process easier and more suitable to all sort of student, especially the ones with special needs who acquire specific care and support for them to have a normal learning experience. The awareness is becoming higher which ask for a better attention on creating a proper environment. This research deals with the topic of the relation between educational buildings and the learning process of visually impaired students. It explores the possible ideas and solution for the issues that concern the special needs educational community. Such as accessibility and circulation. The findings are collected through multiple methods such as surveys that covered a base of special needs people and their families, an interview with authorized specialist from the blind institute in Bahrain. Also a verity of experts opinion on the topic, as well as the author opinion. The results includes findings on the design aspect of creating a space, and the elements that controls the functional purpose.
