The Title was originally Answer By Fire. It is the same book, but I have changed the title toThe Edge Of Sunset.In The Edge Of Sunset, the never-changing world of prophecy collides with the ever-changing world of futuristic technology. Adamm Oakes and Daniel Samson move in and out of both worlds stealthily and perilously. Adamm's father, a small-town preacher, has committed suicide; but through a unique series of events, Adamm believes Daniel is responsible. The mystifying mass vanishing episode causes global conditions to change. Daniel is forced from a comfortable lifestyle in Pennsylvania to the backstreets of Los Angeles, where he is joined by others who are also recent refugees. He is influenced by the haunting voice of his missing wife, Betty Ann, and the timeless words of Scripture. Conversely, Adamm Oakes has been elevated to a top rung at the Universal Times. He now has access to the extreme intelligence apparatus used at the Times. With them he both idolizes the new president and tracks Daniel Samson with the intention of bringing him to an end. Periodically, biblical characters appear that have a direct effect on the movement of the story. Adamm, Daniel, Isabella, Dawson, Shawna, Betty Ann and others weave their way to a startling ultra-dimensional ending.
