Electrifying Terror as the Earth dies screaming.

Yep, I counted five good screams in less than an hour. Like in “The Village of the D-a-m-n-e-d,” everyone falls asleep or is possibly dead. Jeff Nolan (Willard Parker), Peggy (Virginia Field), and a handful of others survive to face an enemy that will make your eyes bug out. You know that something is wrong when everyone drives on the wrong side of the road. Oh, it is England (Shere, Surrey, England, UK). That is why everything looks so primitive, even by 1964 standards. Or is it just because it is a cheap movie with lots of toys for the accident scenes? The plot, drawn from many B-movie themes, is a mix of “Target Earth” (which also had only one or two robots) and some of those Walking Dead things, with a tad of “The Village of the Dead.” The only thing they forgot to do was use flamethrowers and threaten little dogs.
