One day a mighty eagle soars down to earth to grasp a shiny spoon. This seemingly small choice affects Sky Tamer and begins to confuse his natural instincts. Thus the stage is set for the Eagles Nest adventure to begin. Charlie, a good natured and amicable young man is restless. Like most teens, he struggles to follow the house rules. His house though, is St. Anthony's Monastery, and it has been his home all his life. One day, he announces. "I'm leaving." Charlie is stunned, when Father Francis agrees. The kind priest instructs, "This time, go with a purpose." Before leaving, the monks provide meager gifts, advice and faith coaching for his journey. Charlie promises to apply what he has been taught, but secretly relishes his idea of independence. Charlie will have encounters that will both benefit and test his spirits. Eventually, he reaches his destination, the Northlands. At the castle, a huge event is underway. All is well until Charlie encounters... How will faith play out in this tale of a restless heart prone to discouragement? In our limited perspective we do not always know what is important or what is on the path ahead. Perhaps, we must keep working and be transformed in the time of waiting. On his journey, Charlie will be tested, for there are many lessons to be learned.
