Lenny was the getaway driver for a group of sophisticated jewel thieves. They got away, he got caught. Now released after 10 years in prison, Lenny's kept his cool, kept his secrets, and emerges as a new man, with two goals: leave his criminal past behind and reunite with his wife, Maureen, who divorced him while he was in prison. His son Flynn picks him up and takes him back to his own place in Hollywood. Lenny begins to acclimate to life on the outside and plans to reunite with Maureen. It's a process, but Lenny, the eternal optimist, believes everything will work out. Then he gets a phone call from Deek, the leader of the gang, wanting to welcome him back to the world and thank him for keeping his mouth shut while inside. Lenny reluctantly agrees to meet him, and Deek has quite a surprise for him: his split of their final deal. Deek slides an envelope across the table to Lenny. The envelope is thin, so Lenny is confused. Turns out it's a Bitcoin certificate, an account Deek set up in Lenny's name. Perfectly legal, he says, and when Lenny takes a look at the amount and sees all those zeros, he's speechless. After talking it over with Flynn, Lenny decides he can't accept the money. Legal or not, it's a link to his past he's trying to move on from. So the next day, they drive to Deek's gorgeous house on the beach to return the envelope. But Deek is not someone who takes no for an answer, or rejection of what he considers his kind act. The envelope goes back and forth, relationships come together and fall apart, and in the end, everyone gets what they deserve, or at least what karma has decided for them.
