The Dreaming Rainbow: A story about unity, beauty and harmony

By Peter McIntosh

Mira, a curious child, discovers a magical paintbrush that transforms her world into a vibrant landscape.

Guided by an orange spiral, she embarks on a journey to restore the Rainbow, the source of harmony and magic, which has vanished.

Along the way, she encounters vivid, living colours and meets Prism, a guardian of light, who poses a riddle:

"What colour is the heart of the world?" Mira realizes the answer is the unity of all colours-the Rainbow-and restores its magic.

Even though it turns out to be a dream, Mira is inspired to find beauty in everyday moments, like a sunrise or a rain puddle.

Her dream of the rainbow taught her to value harmony and uniqueness, showing her how bringing people together can create something extraordinary.

It also reinforces the importance of solving problems with thoughtfulness, imagination, and persistence.
