Book 3 of the Crossroads Series, The Dream Team Arrives, picks up after Kid returns home to Minnesota from California.
He is still giving Cassie time to sort out her feelings about the Dream and its impact on the two of them. While waiting, he begins putting his endorsement earnings to work toward the goal of changing the future he saw in his Dream. He puts together several deals and recruits experienced people to take them over.
Kid and Cassie meet two of his fellow Dream participants and negotiate to buy their business based on the Dream's guidance.
On the field, he suffers his first slump and struggles to get through the doldrums of August.
Cassie becomes the face of women's softball during the World Tournament and racks up her own endorsement deals. She begins to lose touch with the Kid. She goes right from the tournament in Europe to school back east. Cassie and Kid begin to worry about the impact on their relationship. Cole's team survives the hostile takeover, and he now gets more involved in the Kids' plans to save the planet.
