Sir Aldric dropped to one knee, catching his breath, head bowed. His eyes blazed golden when he finally looked up. "...The path to Shadowfiend was open." The forest remained silent, but the knight could feel it-the world had shifted. The lair awaited. From his hand, the stone's energy surged, an electric current rushing through his veins. Chapter: 12. Duel with shadowfiend.

The mist parted, and Shadowfiend emerged at last. His form towered like a nightmare given flesh, eyes burning with endless hatred. The Dark Lord had shown his true form, rising from the depths of shadow itself. You were to crush him, traitor. he roared. Kalthor rose to his feet, defiant. "No more, Shadowfiend. I am free. My soul remembers justice-and I will see your reign ended." Sir Aldric drew his sword, Forestheart's flame blazing brighter than ever before. The dragon spirit within roared in unison, the blade wreathed in sapphire fire. Shadowfiend sneered, spreading his claws as dark energy writhed around him like living vipers. "Then both of you shall fall " With a thunderous roar, Sir Aldric charged, his fist ignited with golden dragon strength. He struck first, his punch cracking the air itself. Shadowfiend caught it in a gauntleted hand, darkness exploding on impact. He countered with a shadow-infused strike.
