If you want to try dowsing, start with this excellent workbook!

My feeling about dowsing is that many of us would be able to do this by following basic steps, but most of us lack the confidence in what we're doing. This book (in workbook format) by a fine teacher as well as expert dowser is a great way to get over the 'no confidence' hurdle and begin using these techniques for all sorts of things. What I liked especially in this volume (other than its straightforward, accessible style) was the test of skill at the end of the book -- a chance to see that one actually CAN do this! I highly recommend this book.
