Following a period of severe depression, Adora Grace Page receives an unexpected visit from an angel named Jack. Mystifying. Surreal. A beautiful inspirational story of renewed hope and everlasting love. EXCERPT ------------------- What more proof did I need that happiness absolutely did not exist? There was no such thing as true love that would last forever. I didn't want to live in a world where there was only sadness, tears and disappointment. I stepped down harder on the gas pedal, paying no attention whatsoever to the reckless way I was driving or where I was going. What did it matter? There was no purpose in life, not only mine but for anybody. I'd just as soon die as face one more day of worry, pain and misery. I didn't see the stop sign until I was too close to stop at the break neck speed I was going. When I slammed on my brakes at the last minute, I started sliding. The car went into a spin, twirling around crazily as I tried to get it back under control. The tires left the pavement and onto the grass at the side of the road. I stomped harder on the brake pedal but I couldn't stop. I never saw the tree, but I heard the impact when I hit it. I screamed. "No I don't want to die God, help me "
